 When the opportunity arose Lisa Smith, local mother of two young girls jumped at the chance to own her favourite local children’s boutique, Starfish Kids. It’s the perfect shop to browse if you’re after that special gift or new outfit for your child. One visit to Starfish Kids is never enough, you find something new every time! Lisa’s mission is to continue to build the reputation of Starfish Kids as one of the Peninsula’s leading retailers of boutique children’s clothing and footwear, and unique and unusual gifts.  What a lot of people don’t realise is that Starfish Kids has a party room. Young guests will be taught a craft activity by Lisa or another staff member followed by a delicious feast. You can bring your own food or they can supply it for you. Balloons, pass the parcel and lolly bags are also available. There is a jukebox for your kids to play their own music and have a dance as well.
Craft activities vary from decorating a singlet to painting your own set of nesting dolls. Parties are held each Saturday. These parties have become a huge success for both girls and boys.A holiday programme has also commenced. Booking can be made in advance at Starfish Kids. Starfish Kids has a children’s playground directly out the front so it is perfect to grab a coffee and browse while the children play outside.
